The First Step to a Better Relationship With Your Horse Starts Here
The Equine Method is here for horse owners who are struggling with their horse’s behaviour or training, and other methods have failed them.
We don’t use short-lived quick-fixes, we take the time to understand you, your needs, your horse’s needs and provide you with a tailor made training programme.
Tailored To You & Your Horse

Step 1 - A FREE, no-obligation phone call.
Step 1: A free, no-obligation phone call with me, Jen, at The Equine Method. I’ll take the time to listen and understand the behavioural challenges you’re facing. As an science-led ethical trainer, I’ll offer initial advice and, if needed, direct you to a vet or another professional — always with your horse’s best interests at heart.
Step 2 - Book Your Initial Consultation
Step 2: Your initial consultation is a two-hour appointment, giving us ample time to explore the concerns you’re facing with your horse, get to know each other, and begin training from day one. This session includes a period of observation, allowing me to assess your horse’s posture for signs of tension or relaxation. I’ll begin identifying where stress thresholds arise and where trigger-stacking may be occurring. Together, we’ll explore how your horse may be feeling in certain situations and have a thorough discussion to create a tailored plan moving forward. We’ll then begin behaviour modification training during the same session to start improving things straight away..
Step 3 - Time To Get To Work
Step 3: Now it’s your turn to take the reins and continue with your horse’s training plan. You’ll receive a detailed report from our initial consultation, including tailored training plans to guide you along the way. But don’t worry - you won’t be left on your own. You’re welcome to book as many follow-up sessions as you need, and I’ll advise you on what level of ongoing support might be most appropriate. I also offer cost-effective package options - just let me know if you’d like more information.
Step 4 - Future Proofing
Step 4: Periodic check-ins help ensure that the strategies we’ve put in place - whether environmental adjustments, behaviour modification, or medical interventions aligned with veterinary advice - continue to support lasting progress. These long-term reviews are designed to maintain and reinforce the positive changes we’ve achieved. At The Equine Method, we don’t believe in quick fixes; our focus is on sustainable, long-term improvements to both your experience as a horse owner and your horse’s wellbeing. Ultimately, the goal is for you to no longer need my support - for the work we’ve done together to become second nature, enabling you and your horse to move forward with confidence, safety, and success.
